I spent a week exploring the area, so I could see everything very calmly, and I came to the conclusion that these are my favorite restaurants in Loutraki!

So here you’ll find a compilation of Greek tavernas, traditional restaurants and even seafood restaurants that I tried and loved.

In fact, some of these restaurants I went to more than once, because they were so good.

So, if you like to eat well while traveling, here are my suggestions.

Four Restaurants in Loutraki you must try (Where To Eat in Loutraki)

Woody’s

Woody’s is a Greek taverna in Loutraki, so you can expect traditional Greek food at reasonable prices.

In fact, I liked it so much that I went there for lunch twice and it always went well!

So, the first time, I chose the traditional moussaka, which was delicious!

However, as so often happens in Greek restaurants, the portion was so generous that I didn’t get to try dessert.

So I went there again another day, but this time I ordered a different dish. I wanted to try soutzouki, which is a kind of sausage stuffed with cheese and grilled.

And if you want to know, here goes: it was very good!

Ouzeri o Giannis seafood restaurant

Ouzeri o Giannis is a seafood restaurant in Loutraki with a family atmosphere that has been in operation for over 40 years.

With their doors open for so long, they must be very good, I thought. And I was right, I went to Ouzeri o Giannis for lunch on a Sunday, and although the restaurant is large, it was packed!

Curiously, with lots of families. I already knew what I was going to order, I wanted to try the fried seafood dish I’d seen so many times on social media.

There were prawns, small sardines, squid and two octopus tentacles. Lightly seasoned to bring out the flavors of the fish and seafood, with a very fine dose of flour and fried just right! What a treat!

You can choose for one, two, three or four people, and I chose the portion for one person and couldn’t finish it!

Since I’m against waste, I asked for a package to take what I couldn’t eat to dinner. But I noticed that other tables were doing exactly the same, which shows that the portions are very large.

Take a look at the last picture to see what was left of my meal!

ORMOS Λουτράκι

ORMOS is a family-run restaurant located on Loutraki beach. It’s beautifully decorated and the staff are very friendly.

I walked past this restaurant several times before deciding to go in, and I’m glad I did one day at lunchtime.

It wasn’t very crowded then, unlike the previous days, and the experience was excellent.

I chose the dish of the day, stewed wild boar that would fall apart with a fork. The portion was also very generous! At the end, I was offered a chocolate mousse, which I couldn’t resist.

Tavern Erato

Tavern Erato is a family-run restaurant known for its typical Greek dishes, fresh fish and freshly grilled meats, as well as the hospitality of the owners.

It is on the seafront and has a pleasant space both inside and out.

I chose to dine at this traditional restaurant in Loutraki and I’m glad I did!

The food was great and the atmosphere very lively. I started with a plate of tzatziki, accompanied by a generous slice of bread.

Then came a platter of grilled meat, so well served that I almost didn’t finish it. But I can assure you that it was delicious, with that authentic Greek flavor.

To complete the evening, there was live music. Even though I didn’t understand the lyrics, I had a great time and the experience became even more special.
