As I mentioned at the beginning of the article, the best area to stay in Liverpool depends on what you’re going to do in the city, so I’ve taken the liberty of suggesting different accommodations in the city.
In any case, if you want to explore everything on foot, City Centre and Albert Dock are the best neighborhoods, but if you want to go out at night, the Baltic Triangle has original bars and lots of atmosphere.

I spent three days in Liverpool and I think that’s the ideal amount of time to see the main tourist attractions without rushing around.

Do I need a car to visit Liverpool?
You don’t need a car to visit Liverpool, because the city is easy to explore on foot or by public transport. In other words, you only need a car if you want to visit places outside the city, such as Chester or the Lake District.
In any case, if you’re thinking of renting a car in Liverpool, I use and recommend Discovercars, which is, in my opinion, where I get the best conditions.
