Staying at ibis Bristol Centre (my experience)
I stayed at the ibis Bristol Centre, and its biggest advantage is the location.
It’s right next to Temple Meads station, which makes arriving in Bristol incredibly easy, especially after a flight or a long train journey. In just a few minutes you’re in your room, something I really appreciate when I reach the city at the end of the day.
The hotel follows the usual style of the brand: simple, functional, and clean rooms. The bed was comfortable, which for me is always the most important thing.
Also, the soundproofing was surprisingly good, considering how close it is to the railway lines. Breakfast includes the essentials and works well for anyone who wants to leave early to explore or catch another train.
From the hotel, I could walk to Harbourside and the Old City without any difficulty. The area has restaurants and cafés nearby, so I never felt short of options. For travelers looking for convenience and fair prices, ibis Bristol Centre delivers exactly what it promises.
