The airport is located in the parish of Ribeira Seca, in the municipality of Velas, approximately 7 km from the town center.

The best way to get around São Jorge Island is by renting a car, and the good news is that you can do it online and in advance.

Since the island is relatively small and has a limited number of rental cars, I recommend booking a car as soon as you decide to visit São Jorge.
