I had the opportunity to take a Caribbean cruise aboard the MSC Divina, and I loved the experience on this ship inspired by Italian actress Sophia Loren.

It’s a gigantic ship, and here are some numbers to prove it: it has 1,751 cabins, including 45 cabins for guests with special needs, and it can accommodate 4,345 passengers and 1,388 crew members.

A lot of people sharing the same space, I know, but I didn’t feel like there were that many people! Maybe because there are many common areas, or perhaps because there were always activities on board.

So, in this article, you will find all the information you need to make the most of your next cruise trip through the Caribbean aboard the MSC Divina.

And to answer the question posed in the title, let it be clear that I love Caribbean cruises because I consider them an excellent way to experience a bit of the Caribbean Islands in a single trip.

Additionally, the cabins are spacious and well-equipped, and choosing a cabin with a balcony was perfect for me!

In terms of dining, I must say I was pleased with the variety offered, even though I only visited the complimentary restaurants.

Leisure areas include pools, a spa, a theater, a sports court, and a casino, ensuring entertainment and fun for all tastes.

MSC Divina Itinerary in the Caribbean

If I had to sum up my experience aboard the MSC Divina in the Caribbean, I would say something like this:

What an amazing trip! I embarked in Miami, and the second day was reserved for enjoying the smooth sailing aboard this luxury ship.

On the third day, I had the opportunity to explore Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and climb the famous Dunn’s River Falls.

Then, on the fourth day, I visited George Town in the Cayman Islands.

Continuing the journey, on the fifth day, the stop in Cozumel, Mexico, took me to Tulum, with its Mayan ruins and turquoise waters perfect for diving.

Another day at sea gave me time to enjoy the onboard amenities, such as the pools, spending more time in the restaurants, and enjoying the live entertainment.

On the seventh day, I arrived in Nassau, Bahamas, where I understood why so many travelers talk about the white sandy beaches and clear waters. It’s not just marketing; the beaches in the Bahamas are truly paradisiacal.

Finally, I returned to Miami on the eighth day, concluding the Caribbean trip. However, it was just the beginning of a new adventure: exploring Miami, Miami Beach, and the Everglades in Florida.

Yes, the MSC Divina offers plenty of activities for children and families. In fact, my kids loved the cruise.
