Accomodation near Isla Mágica, Seville

Hotels in Isla Mágica (Seville).

Since the La Isla Mágica amusement park isn’t far from the center of Seville, when choosing accommodation, you can opt for a centrally located hotel.

This way, you’ll have the best of both worlds: proximity to the amusement park and to Seville’s monuments and restaurants.

For me, the Eurostars Regina (3 stars) is usually the first choice because I find it to have a very acceptable price and it’s about a 10-minute walk from La Isla Mágica.

On the other hand, if you value the boutique hotel experience, I suggest taking a look at Hotel Boutique Triana House, near the Triana Bridge, or Itaca Sevilla by Soho Boutique in the old town.

If you prefer a budget-friendly room, Santiago 15 Casa Palacio will certainly suit your needs, or explore the map where Airbnb accommodations in the area are marked.

What to bring to Isla Mágica?

If you’re planning a visit to Isla Mágica in Seville, it’s important to prepare in advance to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience.

Here are some tips on what to bring with you to make the most of this theme park:

Firstly, it’s essential to have a good sunscreen. Seville is known for its hot and sunny weather, so protecting your skin from UV rays is crucial. Make sure to apply sunscreen before leaving home and bring it with you to reapply during the day.

Another essential item is a hat or cap to protect your head and face from the sun. Additionally, sunglasses can be useful to protect your eyes from intense sunlight.

Since the park has many water attractions, it’s advisable to bring a swimsuit and a towel. You’ll be able to enjoy refreshing pools and water slides, so be prepared to have fun in the water.

Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes. There will be plenty of walking and activities throughout the day, so opt for closed and comfortable shoes that allow you to explore the park without discomfort.

To stay hydrated throughout the day, bring a reusable water bottle with you. There are many water refill stations in the park where you can fill your bottle.

Finally, it’s always useful to have a backpack to store your personal belongings such as your phone, wallet, camera, and other essential items.

Do I need Travel Insurance to visit Isla Mágica?

Adrenaline-pumping attractions at Isla Mágica. Do I need Travel Insurance?

While travel insurance is not mandatory for traveling to Spain, considering the low cost of travel insurance and the benefits they offer, I recommend purchasing one.

And if you’re thinking that having the European Health Insurance Card is enough, I must tell you that in case of a medical emergency, you are entitled to the same conditions as Spanish citizens, meaning you will go to a public hospital with all possible inconveniences that entails.

I personally use IATI travel insurance, which I find to have the best coverage and low prices, without having to pay upfront.

How to get to Isla Mágica

The nearest airport to Isla Mágica is Seville Airport (SVQ), also known as San Pablo Airport, which is about 12 km away.

Ryanair offers direct flights from London Stansted to Seville (SVQ), while British Airways, Vueling, and Easyjet have direct flights from LGW London Gatwick to Seville.

Upon arriving at Seville airport, you can go to the city center or Isla Mágica by rental car or public transport.

If you prefer to rent a car, my suggestion is to check prices on Discovercars. Usually, OK Mobility and Record-Go tend to have the most affordable car rental prices at Seville Airport.

However, these two car rental companies do not have offices at the airport, which means you have to take a free shuttle to pick up the car keys.

This may not be a problem for you, but if you’re in a hurry, it’s not the most recommended option.

Therefore, the car rental companies with a counter at Seville Airport are Firefly, Alamo, Goldcar, and Enterprise.

On the other hand, the EA (Especial Aeropuerto) bus connects Seville airport to the city center in about 30 minutes, and the ticket costs approximately €4.
