Birmingham has a lot to offer, although it is often overshadowed by better-known cities like London or Manchester.

I spent three days in this city and was enchanted by its industrial history, canals, museums and vibrant gastronomic scene. Believe me, Birmingham is a city that deserves to be explored with time!

So, to get the most out of the city, it’s essential to choose the right place to stay in Birmingham.

So, what’s the best location? The city center (Bullring & Grand Central) or the outskirts of Broad Street, Jewellery Quarter, Digbeth and Cheapside are good bets, in my opinion!

Fortunately, some of Birmingham’s best hotels are in these very areas.

And to help you choose, in this article I’ve included suggestions for luxury hotels and budget options, as well as hotels with excellent value for money.

✔️ Tried, tested, and approved: If you don’t have time to read the full article, here’s my quick verdict—I stayed in an apartment in Cheapside and highly recommend it! It’s not the most central, but it’s comfortable and offers great value for money!
