In fact, in Anchorage you’ll find luxury hotels, more affordable options and mid-range hotels with excellent value for money.

Budget hotels in Anchorage
The concept of cheap or economical is a little different in the United States, as accommodation is generally more expensive than in most European cities.
Add to this the remote location of Alaska, which means that everything is more expensive.
Even so, it is possible to find some slightly more economical accommodation.
So if you’re looking for a budget option, the Econo Inn is a reasonable choice. Located in the centre of Anchorage, it offers affordable prices and a convenient location for exploring the city.
The Puffin Inn (2 stars) is another affordable option that offers simple comfort and good amenities at competitive prices.
If you don’t mind being a little further away, the Wingate by Wyndham Anchorage Downtown – Ship Creek (2 stars) is a well-located option with affordable rates and easy access to the main tourist attractions.
