How to get from Gibraltar Airport to the city center

The British Rock has the particularity of being quite small, meaning that the airport is about 500 meters from the center of Gibraltar.

It is therefore not uncommon to see passengers walking to the center from the airport. However, if you don’t want to walk or if you’re traveling with children or bulky luggage, you’ll find cabs outside the airport.

This means that there is always transportation nearby, but you can also choose to rent a car.

Budget has a counter inside the airport, which almost always translates into a more expensive rental, while Goldcar, Keddy and Europcar have counters outside the airport.

Flights and Airlines at Gibraltar Airport

Currently only two airlines have regular flights to Gibraltar, and they are easyjet and British Airways.

Easyjet has direct flights from Gibraltar to Bristol, London Gatwick and Manchester, while British Airways has direct flights to London Heathrow.
