Aegean Airlines is a Greek aviation company headquartered in Athens, with two major hubs at Athens International Airport and Thessaloniki Airport.
It is part of the Star Alliance, which includes Tap Air Portugal and Scandinavian Airlines, and is the largest airline in Greece.
In other words, it operates flights to 153 destinations, including many Greek cities and Europe, as well as flights to America, the Middle East, and Asia.
So, in this article, I’ll tell you about my experience traveling with Aegean, including information I find relevant so you can make the most of flying with this airline.
My experience traveling on Aegean Airlines

My recent flights with Aegean Airlines were from Stockholm to Kalamata and from Athens to Frankfurt.
Both trips went smoothly, from booking tickets online to check-in. Boarding was always smooth, and the flights departed on time.
The cabin crew was friendly, although not all of them spoke English. There was a girl who spoke other languages, but from what I understood, most of the cabin crew only spoke Greek.
Nevertheless, they were all very helpful and friendly, so I consider my experience with Aegean Airlines positive.
In other words, I recommend this airline without hesitation.
